Dr Penelope (Penny) Hall, BDS, has been practising dentistry for more than three decades. She trained at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and began her dental career in South London in 1993.

Early in her career, Dr Penny worked with Dental Surgeon Dr Dipak Joshi, who served as her Vocational Trainer. During this period, they were actively involved with the Central London Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. Dr Joshi had a strong interest in technology and modern dental techniques, which influenced Dr Penny’s early professional development.

Dr Penny worked alongside him for nine years, caring for a wide range of NHS and private patients. During that time, she also became a Vocational Trainer for newly qualified dentists and served as Secretary of the Central London Faculty of General Dental Practitioners.

Professional Journey in Singapore

Dr Penny moved to Singapore in 2001 and has been practising general dentistry alongside Dr Madeliene Gunaratnam for nearly 25 years.

Their practice was previously located at Tanglin Shopping Centre, after which they relocated to Camden Medical Centre in early 2022.

Over the years, Dr Penny has developed a diverse patient base that includes Singaporeans and expatriates. She provides dental care for individuals and families, including parents, children, helpers, and visiting relatives.

Dr Penny has cared for many families in Singapore over long periods of time. She has seen children from their first dental visits, through their school years, and later when they return to Singapore from university to visit family.

Dr Penny is married to Gary and has three children named Ben, Emma and William. They all grew up in Singapore, and Emma and William were born there. They now live in the United Kingdom, where they are working and studying.
